When placed in front of a candle, LED light, or window, the image glows a warm sepia-amber tone, highlighting the intricate sculpted depth of traditional lithophanes. Crafted from Parian porcelain, the panel showcases Belleek’s craftsmanship & delicate translucency. These decorative lithophanes were produced in limited quantities during the 1980s & are now sought after by collectors of Irish porcelain. The lithophane measures approximately 4.75” x 6.5” comes in a silver mat frame in a presentation box. The porcelain panel itself is in excellent condition; no chips, cracks, or repairs. The frame shows minor cosmetic wear on the back (tape marks) & a small ding on the front; box has writing & tape marks.
