Such a sweet throwback to the 1980-90s DIY aesthetic, but finally completed (and signed) in 2019.
Initialed & dated by maker.
No fabric information but looks & feels like a wool/cotton blend, woven in a homespun style with drawn-thread squares.
12 cross-stitched motifs of butterflies and flowers, done in autumn colors of green, burnt orange, golden yellow, purple, and red on beautiful creamy beige.
Beautifully done; almost as pretty on the back (see last photo).
Each embroidery is about 4” X 4” with some closer to 4” X 5.5”. Each is centered in an 8.5” square; there is a double border surrounding the 12 squares.
Excellent condition with no signs of use or damage. The only thing I see is a tiny mark that looks to be a pencil mark made by the stitcher (see 2nd to last picture).
Thanks for looking. Plz stop by again soon; I have hundreds of items to list in all sizes for men, women, and children, plus interesting and unique accessories for your home. Bundle and save!!
