Vintage Chaco Cowhide Leather Hard Case Doctors Bag Hand-made of top-grain cowhide, this distinctive Doctors Bag is from the CHACO area of Paraguay, a cattle raising country in the Pampas region of South America. Traditional craftsmanship ensures its quality. Unlike newer methods which use toxic chemicals, this leather is tanned only by the sun and is processed with vegetable oil and other natural ingredients. It is covered with a beeswax seal making water prooting or other protective coatings unnecessary. It may tan to deeper tones through exposure to sunlight. Real leather, unlike man-made imitations, contains blemishes and imperfections which add to its character and authenticity. Soil spots can be removed using equal parts of lemon juice and water.
