1970’s Avon Cameo Locket Ring

These 1970’s Avon rings were popular for their Victorian-inspired style, the cameo face is a hinged locket that opens to reveal a compartment. Originally sold containing a "perfume glace" or solid perfume but can be used for a photograph as well. Features a classic lady's silhouette in a cream-colored relief against a carnelian-orange background. The oval cameo is bezel-set in a gold-toned, twisted rope frame. Like many Avon costume jewelry pieces of that era, the band is adjustable to fit various finger sizes. Currently set at a size 6 but can adjust from a size 5 to 10 comfortably. There is visible wear to the gold plating on the band and back of ring but the cameo itself and interior are in great condition.
