Striking Art Nouveau style figural furniture mount featuring a serene maiden's face beneath a stylized openwork mask or draped headdress. The flowing lines and organic forms are characteristic of the Art Nouveau period, with sculptural relief and elegant symmetry. Sand-cast texture construction, hollowed back cavity, and three mounting holes indicate original use as a furniture or architectural appliqué, but would also make a wonderful jewelry or assemblage component or display object. Possibly revival c. 1930s-60s. The face is beautifully sculpted, with closed eyes and softly defined features framed by flowing hair or drapery. The openwork mask-like design adds depth and visual drama. Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear.
