Vintage Scottish Clanwear Pure New Wool Pleated Tartan Skirt – Size 14 – Brown

This pleated tartan skirt by Scottish Clanwear in Jedburgh, Scotland is a timeless piece that you’ll wear for years to come. Made of 100% pure new wool, the pattern is primarily black and red with a touch of wedgwood blue, set against a soft brown background. A classic wrap-around skirt, the two leather buckle closures make it adjustable. The vertical edge of the skirt is finished with a subtle fringe. Made in Scotland. Measures 28.5” (72cm) long; the waist is 13.5” (34cm) across as photographed (it can be adjusted by approximately one additional inch (2.5cm). Note that there is a small tear (approximately 0.1” / 3mm) in the weave at the front of the skirt (refer to photo #6); because it’s a wrap skirt with another layer underneath, it’s not highly visible. Otherwise, this is a quality vintage piece in good pre-loved condition.
