The material is a thick sturdy canvas. It closes with a top gold-tone zipper. It has a 6” black wristlet strap. Although this bag is EUC, and looks new, there are a few spots on the interior lining. It’s been cleaned, these spots, even with the cleaning were not able to be removed. There are no odors at all. Great looking bag.
