Vivienne Westwood collaboration with Eastpak, focusing on sustainability and the use of recycled ocean plastics. As well as using this material, the collection also declares its core message through the phrase “Save Our Oceans,” which appears in bold text across all of the items. Overall, the collection features five items, ranging from smaller bags such as the “The One” shoulder bag and “Bane” to larger models such as the “Tranverz S” travel trolly All of the bags feature the “Sea Creatures” print that Westwood first used for the “Propaganda” collection in Fall/Winter 2005. This print is inspired by 19th century marine illustrations, and covers a black base on all five bags. Throughout the collection, the recycled PET material is used for everything including the main fabric, lining, webbing and logos. This is finished with long-lasting zippers, threads and hardware.
