Beautiful Vintage Embroidery Crewel Picture "Old Oaken Bucket" Handstitched Framed Under Glass For your consideration is a very lovely and charming vintage embroidered crewel picture titled, "Old Oaken Bucket". -This picture is based on an 1872 lithograph by Currier & Ives of the same title. -Beautifully executed stitching in lovely multiple colors on an oatmeal colored linen. -Mostly French knots and satin stitches are used on this piece. -Pretty geometrical border. -A very substantial size that measures 13 1/2" wide x 17" tall with frame. -It's framed in a wooden 1" frame that has gold accents all over it. Very pretty. It's also under glass. -Dust cover and hanging hardware on the back. -Overall, in very good vintage condtion with bright colors and masterful and complete stitching.
