I had no idea there was a product for a single setting spoon rest until I started digging through the "Everything Else" sections of thrift stores. Now, any time I see a tiny teapot shaped plate, I have to snatch it up. This one is often sold as melamine, though I'm not sure where that information is coming from. It's definitely a hard plastic.
