Hi 👋 It’s Black but with a bluish undertone. It was sold to me as a black bag and it is however you can only see a slightly lighter black/blue color if you put it next to a modern black bag. From my understanding this is very common with these older bags (1980’s) hope that answers your question. Very beautiful and well kept bag
