Feminist History Book Set with Original Art + Bookmark

Feminist History Bundle 🥰 For the ladies who love history. Would make a special 🎁 The first title: ‘The Homesteaders Daughter’ tells the life’s story of Noveta Higgins, a young lady, born into a family homesteading in British Columbia. It’s incredible to learn how much work the women did on the homestead in those days; and how much they did of what is traditionally considered men’s work! These girls grew up in small, secluded tight knit communities that had to be self-reliant in the midst of a sometimes unforgiving wilderness. The second title: ‘Along the Clearwater Trail’ much is the first title this book explores the life and times of early pioneer women in interior British Columbia, telling of the different stages of their life, and how living in such a wilderness impacted them. Both of these books got me through a rather tough winter! I found lots to be grateful hearing these brave women’s tales. The etching: This etching, or intaglio print was handmade by me!
