This is a great vintage sewing machine from Kenmore. This is a mostly metal machine and is a real workhorse. It has a stitch width dial and a stitch length dial as well as a reverse. It is a straight stitch and zigzag machine as well as decorative stitches. This machine is very easy to operate and easy to thread. It has an Apollo bobbin system and uses a size 66 standard bobbin. The machine has a built-in bobbin winder, which is metal, not plastic like so many of the machines today. It also has dual thread spools for two needle sewing using a twin needle. You can actually sew with two colors at the same time. It comes with the foot pedal as well as two extra bobbins, a buttonhole foot, a zipper foot, a cleaning brushes/ point turner, a machine screwdriver. It also includes the foot pedal. The manual is available in PDF format and I can email it to the buyer upon request. The machine has been tested cleaned and oiled and is in good working condition. This is a free arm machine that allows you to remove the extension table and then you can sew circular items such as cuffs and sleeves. This machine was made in Taiwan. It is mostly metal. This machine will easily handle fabric, such as denim, canvas, multiple layers of quilting, and even leather if you use a leather needle. This is a very nice basic machine and would be suitable for a beginner or a seasoned sewist. This is a no fuss, very reliable machine. There are a couple of scratches and scuffs, typical of use.
