Wonderful, vintage Hermès Republique Francaise - Liberte Egalite Fraternite 90 cm silk square scarf in vibrant red, blue, gold, mustard, white, light green, pale green, and pale pink tones. Detailed design that demonstrates the detailed artistry of Hermès scarves. This special issue design was released in 1989 to commemorate the bicentennial of the French Revolution. Rare to find design and will come with its Hermès box. 100% silk twill Made in France Special issue from 1989 Designed by Joachim Metz Historical and France themed Hand rolled hems/edges in a matching blue Signed Hermès Paris and by artist Very good/good condition, very well maintained, feels hardly worn One pull along the left border (see photo), blue border has some faint stains, no other stains, colors are vibrant, hems are plump, scarf has original folds, silk is very crisp, scarf has some wrinkling, care tag is no longer attached. Box shows signs of wear including rubbing at the corners and some light scratches at the back. The tissue paper insert has some wrinkles. Measures 34 in (H) x 34.5 in (W) Smoke free home.
