Dedham Pottery Covered 1.5 qt Casserole Dish with Blue Bunny Crackle by The Potting Shed Made in USA This 1.5 quart Pottery Casserole Dish is a hand painted Dedham Pottery reproduction crafted by skilled American artisans. It has the famous crackle glaze finish, and is one of the very popular cobalt blue rabbit motif pieces. The blue hand-scribed inscriptions on the bottom have what appear to be the letters “NP” the year in which it was made - 1999, a small leaf cluster with the letters BN all drawn by dish's creator. The casserole is both oven and microwave oven safe. Approximate measurements: Bowl itself: 6.75” wide x 4” tall Bowl with lid is approx 6.75” tall MADE IN USA This casserole is a lovely example of how The Potting Shed (formerly the Dedham Pottery Company) is preserving a priceless American heritage. Note: Small imperfections are inherent in the creation of these pieces. This pretty piece has no cracks but does have a 2 small chips on the rim of the top (see picture).
