The catalog description states that this amethyst stone "almost glows in the light"....and it actually does. Different from other darker amethyst stones, it was easy to capture the "glow" of this one. This classic ring is versatile to wear casually everyday or dress up. It quickly became a fan favorite so it was offered for multiple years, starting in 2004 and going at least through 2013. This specific one being sold is from the early generation, probably 2004-2005, as it was made in India. Because of that and it's rare size, the value is higher. When it became a staple piece, the newer generations I believe were produced by Silpada themselves with the newer logo stamp. The size I have listed is very hard to find. - 925 solid sterling silver band with oxidized clasp design on each side of stone - stunning emerald-cut, bezel-set amethyst stone sits elevated within a separate rectangular setting giving almost a 3D view - size is about 11.5 [refer to pics] EXCELLENT condition!
