Patricia Nash Casape backpack in aged-looking burnished suede in a cognac brown shade. Drawstring top with clasp on flap. One front pocket (7 1/2" deep), one back pocket (5 3/4" deep), one interior pocket with flap (4" deep), and key tether with spring clip. Bag is about 13" high, 13" wide, and 5" deep. This opens alllll the way up, and is nice and roomy; for a purse, I'd call it "large", but for a backpack, it's only medium. Straps are 28-32" long (measuring from the bag to the first and then last hole.) Drop is tough to measure on this but I'd say it's 15", maybe 16" max. Also has a convenient top handle. Whipstitching around flap, branded brass hardware, and embossed logo. The Italian suede is supple but rugged. Weighs just over two pounds. A little boho, a little western, but not enough to pigeonhole it in either category: a nice, versatile bag that can get you through the whole day.
Retail seems to have been $199, but surely this would be closer to $300 if it was still in the catalog. Their Heritage Leather backpack, which is a little bit taller than this, is $328.
Condition: significant ballpoint pen staining inside, but who will ever see that? Outside shows some gentle wear and has a pair of spots on the front pocket that look a little TOO burnished, I don't know if they are actual stains or just natural variation. I have included photos showing these, photos 8 & 9 in particular.
