janehorner612 I have noticed that several listings for Pendleton wool shirts have washed by home machines. Has this shirt only been dry cleaned?

discount_donkey Howdy! I got this shirt secondhand, so I can’t guarantee it’s never been in the home laundry. If I may ask, how can you tell? I can check to the best of my ability. I also have some other Pendleton shirts at the dry cleaners as well!

janehorner612 @discount_donkey My husband has worn Pendleton shirts since we were married (46 years). He has numerous shirts. They used to put a washable label on the shirts. I have not seen that label for years. I once did wash a shirt as directed and it shrunk. The fabric softens and shrinks. 100% Wool is never washable. I have a BS in Textiles and Clothing. I know this. Wol is a beautiful fiber.
