Top seal works as designed. I have documented the green spot on the side of the crock which I assume happened when it was made also the small chip on the lid. There are hairline cracks on the lid but do not go through. Everything that is imperfect I have circled in the pictures. The hairline cracks you can see on the lid in the very last pic. GUC
