Mid-Century Japanese Ceramic Flower Girl Clay Bell 5.25" Vintage

💐 Vintage ceramic bell sculpted into the form of a girl or "maiden". The figurine is depicted in a folk-art style, often referred to as a "flower girl" or "Dutch girl" bell. She is shown holding a bouquet of flowers and a flower basket. The bell's skirt functions as the resonant body of the bell, usually containing a clay or metal clapper inside. The bell's sound is muted and soft. These bells were often made in Japan.
