Beautiful Wedding Dress – Purchased at Wendy’s Bridal – $2,000 Original Price Size 2 This is a gorgeous wedding dress purchased last year from Wendy’s Bridal for $2,000. It truly is a stunning dress, and I’m hopeful someone can make it their dream dress 🤍 Unfortunately, the first seamstress altered it incorrectly — it was made too short for me (I’m 5’7”) and the bust also needs significant alteration work/cups put back in. I ended up not wearing it because even with additional fixes, it would still be too short for my height. The dress will need professional alterations to be perfect, but it is absolutely beautiful and has so much potential. I have found a skilled seamstress in Columbus Ohio who can fix the bust and other alterations if interested — I’m happy to share her information. Message me with any questions!

amycorina Hello! How short is the dress for you? I am 5’6 and am wondering if it would work if I wore low heels.

krswabb it would have been about an inch or two to short for me if I would have gotten the dress fixed. The bottom of the dress still needs to be fixed from the person that did the original alterations. Hope this helps

bridalpromshop What is wrong with the bust? can you post a photo of the inside of the bust so I can get a better idea of what is wrong? If its just the cups that is no big deal

krswabb @bridalpromshop Yes, I can do that tomorrow. The first person added darts that never should have been put in the lace. The second person reopened the bust and started to reassemble the lace, but I didn’t have her finish because I wasn’t going to wear the dress. New cups also need to be placed back in.

salleykn Are you a street size 2? I’m a street size 4, sometimes can wear a 2 in dresses. For the price, may be willing to take the risk and could always pass it on. Also, do you know the name of the dress? Would love to track down more pics online. Thanks!
