First commissioned in 1959 to make USA military gear that could withstand the elements, Wallace & Barnes is known for iconic bombers, flight jackets and parkas (in other words, outerwear with major street cred). Constructed from midweight flight nylon with water resistance, the MA-1 fighter-pilot jacket was the first military bomber jacket to cross over into civilian fashion. This current version has been kept as close as possible to the classic military specifications.
