A substantial vintage L.L.Bean duffle coat in deep red wool, made in the USA and built for real winter wear with Thinsulate insulation and classic toggle-front heritage design. Vintage duffle coat by L.L.Bean, produced in Freeport, Maine and crafted for serious cold-weather performance. This coat pairs traditional heritage duffle styling with practical upgrades, including a full front zipper & Thinsulate insulation The exterior is constructed from heavy wool duffle cloth in a rich red tone. Inside, the body is lined in classic wool plaid, with a quilted lower lining panel and insulated sleeves. Rib-knit interior storm cuffs create a double-layer sleeve system that helps seal in warmth—an especially thoughtful detail for winter conditions. Condition is very good vintage pre-owned with honest wear consistent with age and use. Leather toggle tabs show expected edge curling and wear. One Leather braid has come lose (still functional) All other toggles are intact and functional. Small hole noted in back- not visible until collar is up. Zipper functions properly.
