Simply stunning wing style choker necklace collar with a solitaire freshwater pearl made by the master Taxco silversmith artist Antonio Pineda. This is a very rare design that you will only rarely see come available. It is fully marked with Mr Pineda's eagle 17, crown mark and 970 (97% silver). It's mark places it made between 1948 to 1978, most likely made in the mid to late 1950's. Antonio Pineda pioneered the use of hinges and rivets in such a way to be sure his beautiful jewelry would lay elegantly upon the woman wearing it. This piece incorporates three hinges and one rivet so that it gracefully drapes the neck and collarbone, both enhancing the beauty of the jewelry as well as the wearer.
This will be shipped in a wooden jewelry box and carefully packaged to arrive unharmed.
* Measures about 16" around.
* Condition: Wear commensurate with age and use. Please see the last picture to see scratches on one side of the necklace. The condition overall is amazing but it does have a few scratches here and there.
* Weight: 111.5g
