I am sure this is real fur, potentially squirrel or weasel. This is dated 1950/1960’s, in great condition, any markings that are wrong are shown in photos. No tags visible, fits me well and I would say it’s a modern women’s medium-large. Measurements are as follows- Shoulder to shoulder on the outside is 20 inches, shoulder to shoulder on the inside is 16 inches. Pit to pit approx 20 inches. Neck line to bottom is 26 inches. mandidandrea21 @brendancswic That is down the middle of the inside of the coat where it looks like the stitching is coming apart a bit at the top one. I don’t think it would affect the fit of the coat though.

ugentfurs @mandidandrea21 sorry, looking at your photos again. Could be squirrel. Normally they aren't that hard to tell apart but the coloring on the coat is throwing me off because the coloring resembles both. But the texture seems to be more squirrel. Definitely not mink, though.

ugentfurs @mandidandrea21 your price is fine. It's certainly not worth more. These older coats are dry and don't have much life left in them. Just the nature and beauty of fur as it is natural and supposed to break down and biodegrade.
