Lilliput Lane American Landmarks Country Church Retired 1989 Tiny chip at steeple. 1 cm. Could be very easily colored in with a brown colored pencil. Otherwise, excellent condition. Lilliput Lane models are handmade from Amorphite™, a resin-like compound of finely ground gypsum in Cumbria, United Kingdom (UK). The piece is now retired. The entire series concluded in 2000. Lilliput Lane cottages are highly collectible, known for their intricate details and hand-painted finish. Ray Day is an accomplished sculptor from Indiana known for his work with Lilliput Lane, famous for its detailed miniature collectibles. In 1989 he began creating the American Landmarks Collection featuring 39 pieces of iconic American sites. He continued working for Disney Enesco until 2005.
