Vintage 1950's Anthropomorphic owl cookie jar wearing glasses and reading "Cookie Stories" book I believe made in Ohio and probably by Robinson Ransbottom Pottery - RRP - (I can make it out a bit on the bottom) With his cap he is about 12 inches tall Definitely vintage as there is crazing on Mr. Owl, it adds to his vintage vibe (see all photos) Very nice vintage condition, but his cap does have what appears to be a hairline cracks but it does not feel this is weakened the piece and also chips (see photos) I have had him and used him for probably the last 15 years and he is delight, time to be a delight in a new home.
