Handcrafted Nicaraquan 4” Clay Miniature Vase

This is a handcrafted Nicaraguan redware sgraffito pottery mini-vase featuring carved and painted jungle animals, this one in particular features a toucan. The vase is made of red clay and features detailed, hand-painted and carved designs. The sgraffito technique involves scratching away a top layer of paint to reveal the clay or a different color beneath, giving it a textured look.
