The photos make this look burgundy, but it is closer to a plum colored velvet. Excellent way to class up your daily wear with some dramatic color, and a wonderful texture. I just like touching this because its soft, but still holds everything I need when I go out. Light use, no signs of wear, has been sitting unused for ages. Comes from a clean, non smoking home with a cat. All items are given a pass with a lint roller prior to send off, and kept in storage away from animals.
