Are these a true size 9 or do they run a little tight or bigger? I wear a size 8.5 in women’s, maybe sometimes a size 9 depending on the make/model.

Hi! I would say they are a true 9. You could always wearing a thicker sock if needed especially since they go higher up above ankle.
