Incredible vintage figural wax candle featuring a detailed Black Forest / Bavarian hunter with pipe and hat. These novelty candles were popular in the 1960s–70s and sold in mountain lodge gift shops and alpine décor stores. Hand-painted with wonderful aged patina and strong facial detail. Wick emerges from the top of the hat. A fantastic rustic cabin, hunting lodge, or man cave décor piece. Rare to find in this condition with paint and features so well preserved.
