ANTHROPOLOGIE X CLAUDIA RANKIN STONEWARE CELESTIAL PLATE

A celestial design is found on this handpainted whimsical decorative plate by artist Claudia Rankin. A beautiful blue base with brush strokes and a cat and crescent moon surrounded by stars and cosmic swirls. It measures 9" in diameter with a slight upturned fluted rim. Claudia dabbled in various artistic arts until landing on clay as her main passion, where form and decoration are inspired by historical artifacts, textiles and functional ware. These are now discontinued, were sold separately and made exclusively for Anthropologie. An interesting piece of art that is both functional and decorative! Thanks for looking!
