Very old Louis Vuitton shoulder bag from the 60s. This bag is absolutely authentic. Please see the last few photos for information about older bags showing the identification tag that Louis Vuitton used before implementing date codes on bags. In addition, you will notice that the LV's at the bottom of the front flaphave been cut through. In my photos, refer to the last photo confirming that Louis Vuitton does sometimes cut through monogram LV on purses, especially vintage pieces from the 60s. The bag is beautiful, but the leather trim needs to be cleaned. See last photo which shows a mark on the corner of the bag. Bag is lined in beautiful leather, and also has a paper label which was made under license of the French company featuring a distinctive paper tag, and different from leather. Bag measures approximate 11" across from side to side and 9" from top to bottom and has leather compartments, which are excellent for storing. Shoulder strap measures approximately 33" from end to end. The bottom of the bag will expand to approximately 4”. Overall, this is a beautiful bag and it appears to be and what I would consider excellent vintage condition.
