Real leather shoulder bag bought directly from Portland Leather online. When this style came out, I bought both sizes, and I like the medium best for my daily use. This bag holds more than you think it would without bulk or being heavy. The strap will detach so you could add an after market strap, if you would like to carry crossbody . There are no imperfection in the leather and pebbling is even. I carried it just a couple of times to try it out. It has been in the original box with tissue paper in my closet since.

nanjay Thanks for your offer. I’m a retired English teacher, so I had to say hello and make that school connection! I don’t have many opportunities to carry a purse or wear jewelry these days, but my old purse is dead worn out, and my 50th high school reunion is coming up this spring, so I’ll need a new one. (That’s my excuse anyway!)

nanjay Also, do you have any suggestions for organizing things inside a Portland bag? That’s been my hesitation in buying one. I know they sell organizers on their website, but I simply can’t afford to splurge on those extras. Since you’ve had many, I figure you probably have figured out a system. Thanks for any ideas you can share!

pbjalsup I use small bags inside to organize my things- a small pouch for my lip gloss and hair ties, wallet, a small bag for medicine bottles, and bag for phone chargers and pens. I love Portland Leather “littles” or Makeup Junkie bags.
