Beautiful pair of antique solid brass bookends featuring a detailed nautical sailor scene with ship elements. Heavy, well-crafted pieces with rich aged patina and excellent sculptural detail. Each bookend is signed “KBW” on the bottom, indicating artist or foundry mark. These make a stunning statement for a library, office, bookshelf, or coastal / maritime-inspired decor. Some minor flaws see photos. Last photo shows it a little polished to show its brass. Some people like antique look vs polished. Would polish up nicely.
