1950’s Colonial Lady, USA brand that was based in Los Angeles and created fashionable garments for women. This is a stunning tiered lace petticoat/underskirt used to add volume and a decorative hem to an outer garment. Historically, underskirts, also known as slips or petticoats, were essential foundation garments for achieving fashionable silhouettes, particularly in the Victorian and Edwardian eras when volume and opacity were desired. Features black lace and tan/skin tone colored mesh to create an elegant and charming accent. Materials: 50% Nylon 50% Acetate Measurements: Waist: 13”-18” Length: 25” Condition: Remember, this is from the 1950’s. There are two area’s in need of stitching where the mesh has separated from the seams near the top. This does not effect the wearability or integrity of the garment and also is not visible when worn as intended. Price reflects.*
