KATZHUTTE ART DECO PORCELAIN FIGURINE DANCING COUPLE C.1930'S GOLDSCHEIDER ERA. Stunning Art Deco tall dancing couple, manufactured in goldscheider style. Model created before 1930 or made circa 1930. Katzhu(e)tte (= Cat's House / in German: Katzhütte) / Hertwig & Co. porcelain manufactory. Hallmarked: Katzhutte green stamp mark including a cat's symbol with letter 'H', enclosed by a roof / letter 'A' (possibly the insignia of designer) & painted inscription 'Germany' are visible, too. Subject: Stunning Art Deco dancing couple clad in elegant garments as they were modern during late twenties / early thirties. These figurines are of highest quality due to fine colors (excellently shaded !) and stunning modelling the figurines' quality is the same one as that of Goldscheider items, indeed: Please look at the figurines' garments concerning the lady's long green dress edged by flowers or the man's trousers and shirt with tie. The dancing man supports the woman movements of both figurines are matching to each other in best manner! The figurine group is based on oval domed socle. Measures Approximately 10 inches Tall X 6" Wide. Excellent pre-owned condition. No damage.
