Vintage Ballonoff Porta File Metal Box. Retro faux wood grain style green metal box with a brass top handle and brass lock on the front side. This piece was made by Ballonoff Home Products circa 1965. These were easy portable filing cabinets for small documents such as checks, mail, contacts cards, etc. The outside has the original sticker, and inside is the original key (does not need key to open, but can use the key to lock). Inside the box there is one divider that can slide and adjust. This box measures 9” x 9” x 4.5”. Weight is 1 lb 12 oz. I don’t believe it was used. Very clean without damage or odors - please see all photos for more detail. Overall, such a great storage box, file box, or even tool box!
