This is probably the most beautiful vintage compact I've come across. Adorned in hand-carved Mother of Pearl birds and flowers. I am almost certain this is made by Schildkraut. In absolutely beautiful vintage condition with some lovely patina on the bottom. There is a tiny flea bite chip out of the inside mirror, as pictured. All in tight working order. Great rare piece for the collector. Measures 2.75".
