The company specialized in classic women's apparel with a focus on traditional, comfortable and tailored clothing. The Johnny Appleseed's label later became just Appleseed's and the company was acquired in the early 2000's by Orchard Brands. Beautiful periwinkle blue sheer dress, likely from the 1970s. Scalloped neckline. Long sleeves. Sheer, no inner lining. Elastic waist. Tie at waist with side loops for the tie. Size 14 Pre-owned in very good condition, one very small pull noted on the bottom scallop of the neckline, see last photo.
