Signed by "John S. Dawn, B.C. 70". Style characteristics: Wheel-thrown stoneware with visible throwing rings, left intentionally exposed to emphasize the handmade process. Earth-tone palette: layered browns, iron reds, ochres, and a contrasting blue-green (teal) ash or celadon-style glaze at the rim.
