The Nike Air Max Penny DB ‘Doernbecher’ is from the Nike x Doernbecher Freestyle 2012 project, a special collaboration with the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. The sneaker, designed by 8-year-old San Francisco 49ers fan Alejandro Munoz, features personal drawings and designs covering the reflective upper, with a 49ers logo on the inner quarter panel and a self-portrait on the tongue.
