Vintage Pair of Lefton China Snack Plates and Teacups

This is a set of vintage Lefton China snack plates and teacups in the Wheat pattern. The set features a hand-painted gold wheat design on white porcelain. Minor wear and tear on the gold paint (pictured). The plates are distinctively clam or shell-shaped with a special indentation to hold the teacup. The pattern was introduced in 1958 and is a discontinued piece. The items were crafted in Japan and often marked with the number 2768N.
