Wide brim hats were the rage in the late 1940s after Dior's "New Look" debut. This black velvet hat is is great condition without tears, holes, or stains. Unfortunately the netting will need repair or replacing. The velvet bow sets off the crown, and instead of a hat pin, fabric covered wired braces conform to the head.
