Gorgeous vintage original oil painting on board sailing ship 1962 Linda Slattery

This is a beautiful painting; it was found at a NJ estate sale and appears to have had some water damage; is dry now. There is some missing paint (see pics) the top left of the sky and the left side of the ship and a little on the right side of a sail. The artist signature looks like Linda Slattery. The frame is a chippy blue wood; measures 14" x 18" without the frame, 16" x 20" with the frame. Please ask questions if more information is needed. These original ship paintings are very desirable and hard to find right now.
