Bemberg Skirt

This beautiful shimmering Hunter Green skirt is from my own closet from the days before children when I had a disposable income. There is a coordinating top in a lighter green. Excellent lightly worn condition, however the elastic needs replacement. The camera has not captured the true colour in any of the pictures 😢 Bemberg is the proprietary name for a cupro fabric made by Asahi Kasei, a Japanese manufacturer. While Bemberg linings are in most high-end suits and coats, it’s actually a fairly rare fabric. Only 0.02% of all fabrics produced are Bemberg. Benefits of Bemberg 1) Breathability -absorb the moisture and then release it away from your skin. 2) fantastic heat-releasing capabilities. 3) Bemberg feels very smooth and not at all abrasive. This is part of the reason why it feels so good against your skin. 4) anti-static 5)When the fabric absorbs moisture released from the body, it generates thermal energy which produces warmth. 6) Bemberg is generally very durable. It’s resistant to tears and rips. 7) naturally anti-odor. It eliminates ammonia, acetic acid, and isovaleric acid (sweat) smells. 8) Even though Bemberg is washable and durable, it’s also biodegradable and compostable.
