'My cousin works for this korean brand and gave me this bag when I visited South Korea. Here’s a little info on brand Only used it to travel stuff back to USA. THE NANUG!' is the upcycle brand of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Design Center. Daegu has long been a hub of textile and fashion industries. In 2011, an idea of creating new values by using the dumped fabric, which was the start of 'THE NANUG!. Right now, diverse products such as bags and pouches are produced and distributed, using the extra fabric donated by textile firms. 'THE NANUG!' has reduced environmental pollution by recycling textile wastes and created jobs for local small sewing companies, aged people and career-interrupted women. In addition, a part of the revenue has been donated.
