Vintage rare 1950s 50s Original Collegiate Champion Jacket made for a university club Calliopean Society in a cotton canvas. Off white / cream color. Champion tag Rochester NY Features printed Calliopean 91 emblem on front of jacket. This may be in reference to a literary society at Yale University that was revived in 1950 or one of several other branches at Emory & Henry College or Texas A & M. Full front Conmar zip. Front pockets. Button cuffs. Unlined. Construction excellent Measurements flat: 22” length 16” wide at hem 21” pit to pit 15.5” across shoulders 24” sleeve Best for a modern Men’s S / M depending on measurements Flaws: Some minor discoloration due to age (this doesn’t really show up in photographs, but I have tried to show it as best I can) , missing button on the left cuff.
