This antique sterling silver brooch has an intricate filigree design featuring numerous faceted iron pyrite (called marcasite). The design is Art Deco or the Victorian Revival period. The piece is sterling silver marked with "925" , also marked with NF (nickel free or Chapal, Inc. a manufacturer). This was made in the mid 20th century between the 1930s and the 1960s.
