Vintage metal box purse Dorset Rex 1950s

This box purse is by Dorset Rex, c. the 1950s. This is their famous metal basket-weave box purse, in bright gold-tone metal. The top is a gorgeous dark honey-color Lucite, with a matching handle. It has an S-hook closure. This is the taller box purse, slightly rounded on the front and back. It has a tan acetate lining. Measurements: top is 8.5" x 5"; bag is 7.25" tall; sides are 2.5" wide; base is 6.75" x 4". Handle is 5" wide at top, and 3.5" tall.
